COVID-19 Update

Updated: Dec 30, 2020

Are Dental Visits Necessary Right Now?

According to the American Dental Association (ADA) president Dr. Chad Gehani, D.D.S. dental health is just as important as our physical health right now. In a quote he said to the ADA website he reiterated the importance of keeping up with our dental hygiene.

"Oral health is an important part of overall health. Resuming regular dental visits are important because treatment, as well as prevention of dental disease, helps keep people healthy."

As with any healthcare providers right now, we are doing our part in providing the best care possible to our patients while keeping their health and ours a main priority.

What Are Our Safety Protocols?

In order to protect our staff and our patients we have followed the ADA and CDC recommendations. Here are the things we have implemented in office:

  • Monitor the health of our staff - Temperatures are taken twice a day

  • PPE is worn at all times - Masks, gloves, glasses, face shields, etc.

  • Reduce/eliminate aerosol production in the office

  • Scheduling changes to eliminate foot traffic in the office as well as allowing appropriate time for added disinfecting and sanitizing of exam rooms

  • Hospital grade sterilization of all instruments

  • Facemasks and temperature screening are required for anyone entering the building

  • Phone screen each patient before entering the building

  • Wiping down high contact areas such as the front desk thoroughly and frequently

  • Hand sanitizer available throughout the building

We're doing everything we can to make your dental visit a safe and enjoyable experience so we hope to see you soon!
